Mahidol University International College (MUIC) will join hands with the Salaya community in a biking event that is expected to attract thousands of cycling enthusiasts.
Clinical Prof. Udom Kachintorn, President of Mahidol University, together with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phitaya Charupoonphol, Dean of Mahidol University International College (MUIC), and MUIC Executives along with Mr.Banlue Sangachit, the Deputy Governor of Nakon Pathom province announced in a press conference on September 17, 2015 at Central Plaza Salaya the launching of “Social Cycling: Eco Town Salaya.”
It will be held on September 27 from 6:00 am to 12:00 pm with participants assembling first at Prince Mahidol Hall in the Salaya campus. This cycling event aims to raise the awareness of Salaya residents about global warming and its effects on the environment at the same time promoting the health benefits of cycling. It is also in line with Mahidol University’s Green University Policy.
