Mahidol University International College (MUIC) joined hands with the Salaya community in a biking event that is expected to attract thousands of cycling enthusiasts.
Clinical Prof. Udom Kachintorn, President of Mahidol University, together with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phitaya Charupoonphol, Dean of Mahidol University International College (MUIC), and MU and MUIC Executives along with Mr. Chatchai Utaipan,the Governor of Nakon Pathom province organized “Social Cycling: Eco Town Salaya.”
It was held on September 27, Sunday, from 6:00 am to 12:00 pm with participants assembling first at Prince Mahidol Hall in the Salaya campus.
The cycling event’s highlights included the special trophies of H.R.H. Princess Adiyadhornkitikhun, the Governor of Nakhon Pathom Province, and President of Mahidol University.
This cycling event was aimed at raising the awareness of Salaya residents about global warming and its effects on the environment at the same time promoting the health benefits of cycling. It is also in line with Mahidol University’s Green University Policy.
