Mahidol University International College’s academic calendar is based on a system of three trimesters – Trimester 1 (September-December), Trimester 2 (January-April) and Trimester 3 (April-July) – each running for 12 weeks. There is a brief summer session in August.

  1. A copy of your official transcript and certificate/diploma certified by the Thai Ministry of Education

    Applicants who submit IGCSE must have IGCSE, GCSE or GCE ‘O’ Level at least 5 subjects and GCE ‘AS’ Level or GCE ‘A’ Level at least 3 subjects, 8 subjects in total, with minimum Grade of C. Applicants also have to submit an official high school transcript of M.4 or its equivalence with at least 2 terms.

    GED submissions must pass 5 subjects with a minimum score of 3600 and an official high school transcript of grade 10.

  2. A verification letter of current student status (if studying)
  3. Two 1”x1” photographs
  4. Original of official TOEFL, IELTS or SAT1 scores with at least 2 years validity (if any)

  6. A photocopy of the Thai identification card or passport
  7. A photocopy of one’s current residency document
  8. A photocopy of certification letter from the ministry of education, Thailand, if graduated from an international school or overseas institution.
  9. Application fee

Applicants who have submitted TOEFL, IELTS or SAT 1 scores are required to sit for an examination in writing and mathematics. Those who do not submit TOEFL, IELTS or SAT 1 scores are required to sit for a TOEFL ITP, writing and mathematics examination.
Entertainment Media and Communication Design students are also required to sit for a special examination.

Applicants whose English language skills are not sufficient for immediate acceptance may be advised to study at the Preparation Center for Languages and Mathematics. If they successfully complete the PC requirements, they will be eligible for acceptance at MUIC the following trimester. MUIC also offers an Intensive English Program course for students preparing to take the college’s English entrance examination.

  4. Applicants must check their application’s status on website after sending the required documents.

Remark: Applicants must show their Thai ID Card or passport on examination date. Otherwise, they are not allowed to take the examination.
