Students from Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University (APU) in Japan, St. Edward’s University from the USA and the Catholic University of Korea participate in this Religion and Society Program. They spend one month at APU, one week at the University of Sains in Malaysia, five days at Walailak University, Thailand, and five days at Mahidol University International College.
The number of participants range from 20-25 students who explore Southeast Asian Studies and Comparative Religions at each of the sites. During their stay at MUIC they attend special lectures by instructors from the Social Science Division, followed by discussions and field trips. The group is also given the opportunity to visit the more celebrated cultural sites in Bangkok.
