The payment of all fees can be completed via the bank branch transfer only (Cash payment and ATM transfer are not acceptable) during Sunday 13th to Wednesday 16th May 2012. A copy of the bank transfer slip should be faxed to the Office of Graduate Center on the same day at fax number 02 286 2654. The original transfer slip can be submitted to the Graduate Center on the Orientation day (Saturday 26th May, 2012). The detail of the bank transfer can be found below:

Kindly refer to the announcement according to the English competence standard of graduate students. (details in attached files). This announcement clarifies the English competence standard of graduate students, Mahidol University, in accordance with an announcement of the Ministry of Education entitled “Methods of Graduate Program Standards Management B.E. 2548″ and the Academic Regulations of Graduate Studies B.E. 2552, which states that all graduate programs have to place an importance on English language and ensure the standards and quality of graduate studies at Mahidol University in accordance with the regulations of the Office of the Higher Education Commission.
The Faculty of Graduate Studies (FGS) announce the English competence standard required of graduate students, Mahidol University, as follows;
 
All Master’s degree students (International Programs) must have;
4.1  a TOEFL Paper-based score with a minimum of 480; or
4.2  a TOEFL Computer-based score with a minimum of 157; or
4.3  a TOEFL Internet-based score with a minimum of 54; or
4.4  a TOEFL-ITP score with a minimum of 470, whose tests are administered by the institutes as follows.
         4.4.1 The Language Center, Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University;
         4.4.2 The testing centers that are approved by the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University
4.5  an IELTS score with a minimum of 4.5; or
4.6  an MU-Test (Mahidol University Test) score, as administered by The Language Center, Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University, with a minimum of 45.
 
The FGS does not accept TOEFL test offered by the Graduate Center, International College including the Admission Examination. The result from such test can be used only in MUIC.
 
Although, if you have a TOEFL test result (from Maneeya Center) and it is not invalid (not over 2 years), you may use the result. Native English speakers can request for the exemption.
 
As a result, the coming MU-Test will be on Saturday, June 9, 2012 (at Salaya) from 09:00-12:00 hrs., with the cost of 200 Baht. Students who will defend Thesis/Thematic in this trimester or/and have no any score that the FGS requires above, you have to apply for MU-Test between Friday, May 11, 2012 – Wednesday, May 16, 2012

The location of the examination will be announced on Wednesday June 6, 2012  on the Faculty of Graduate Studies’ website: www.grad.mahidol.ac.th 
Students should check the examination location by themselves.

For the exam result will be announce on Friday, June 22, 2012
 
The Graduate Center will be responsible for the registration fee of 200 Baht for all students who are required to apply the MU-Test.

MU-Test consist of 100 questions in 3 parts : Vocabulary, Grammar and Reading Comprehension.
We will provide you with sample test questions. Please, pick up at Khun Bandid and also bring 1) 2 copies of 1 inch Photo and 2) 1 copy of citizen ID Card or passport & student ID card for registration’s material.

 The College encourages students to strongly consider taking advantage of this opportunity to broaden their horizons. Students may study abroad for one or two terms at our partner universities, and transfer their credit back to MUIC. Master of Business Administration Program in Business Modeling and Analysis and Master of Management Program in Tourism and Hospitality Management, Mahidol University International College (MUIC) recognize the importance to provide two scholarships per program to students of the academic year 2011-2012. Scholarship grants are up to 50,000 THB per scholarship.

Master of Business Administration Program in Business Modeling and Analysis and Master of Management Program in Tourism and Hospitality Management, Mahidol University International College (MUIC) recognizes the importance to provide one scholarship under the 60th Year Supreme Reign of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej of the academic year 2012

Terms and conditions are as follows:                           

1. Applicants must be Thai or foreign students
2. Applicants must have successfully completed their bachelor’s degree with a GPA of at least 3.25 or equivalent
3. The selected candidates will get tuition fees waiver throughout the period of receiving scholarships (this excludes the registration fee for thesis/thematic paper)
4. The selected candidates must be full-time students and maintain a minimum GPA of 3.5 in each trimester. If students’ GPA falls below 3.5, they will be forfeited from the scholarship in the next trimester onwards.

This scholarship will be commenced in the year 2012-2013

Terms and conditions are as follows:
1. Candidates must be foreign students who have their residences outside of the Kingdom of Thailand.
2. Candidates must complete undergraduate level with the GPA of 3.25 or above
3. Candidates must submit their applications and Statement of Purpose according to the Master’s degree admission process
4. The selected candidates will get tuition and administration fees waiver throughout the period of receiving scholarships
5. The selected candidates must be full-time students and maintain a minimum GPA of 3.5 in each trimester. If students’ GPA falls below 3.5, they will be forfeited from the research assistantship in the next trimester onwards.
6. Selected candidates will be assigned to conduct research activities on the time period of fifteen hours per week, by the Program’s Administrative Committee.
