Over the years Mahidol University International College has been recognized for its excellence not only in academia but also for its contributions to society, including recent national awards for its international exchange program, its promotion of Thailand’s cultural heritage, the Prime Minister’s Export Award 2011 and, more recently the Thailand Trust Mark.
Apart from these institutional accomplishments, MUIC faculty, staff and, most especially, students have won recognition for their achievements in leadership, education and research, public speaking, debate, sports, journalism, film and community outreach projects.

Mr. Aekarak Sethi, a senior Environmental Science major, was chosen as one of four Thai university students to participate in the 12th Hitachi Young Leaders Initiative (HYLI) to be held from July 1 to 5, 2013, in Bangkok.

MUIC, representing Mahidol University, won a gold medal and two silver medals in the 40th Thailand University (“Palabodee”) Games held on January 10-19, 2013.
